FriedRich AC Remote (the “app”) is developed by Lookouter. This policy describes what information the app collects and how it is used. In short: the app does not collect any data at all.

The app does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal information or any other data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

How the App Works

The app uses your device’s built-in infrared (IR) transmitter to send signals to your Friedrich air conditioner. Everything happens locally on your device. The app does not connect to the internet.

Permissions

The only capability the app uses is your device’s IR transmitter (the TRANSMIT_IR permission). It does not request camera, location, microphone, contacts, storage, or network access.

Data Sharing

Because the app collects no data, it shares nothing with third parties. We do not sell, rent, or disclose any information about you or your device.

Children’s Privacy

The app does not collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
